In a future where humans must hibernate to conserve resources, a love-hate relationship forms between two convicts trapped on the same sleep schedule.
Award-Winning, Script to Screen
When writers Michael Sallee and Libby Doyne approached Caroline with their GRAND PRIZE-WINNING SCRIPT (Roadmap Writers Short Script Competition) and offered her the role of Phoebe alongside producer and star, Matt Ippolito, it took one read to give them a fervent yes. Libby and Michael’s clever premise delivers the best of both sci-fi and rom-com: a bleak setting and a fresh take on an old trope (in this case, forced proximity).
Caroline came on as a producer and fundraised for the film through her growing social media audience. After they secured funds, Emmy Award-winning director Jasia Ka was brought on board, along with Director of Photography Cole Ellett. The film ended its festival circuit as the WINNER of the AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD at We Make Movies International Film Festival.
Today, it has over 20k views on Caroline’s YouTube channel and continues to find and charm new viewers (just read the comments!).
